  • Marine Industry Association of the Treasure Coast (MIATC) is a non-profit trade organization located in Stuart. The Stuart Boat Show, like most boat shows, are owned by the local marine industry association and designed as a fundraiser to support the association. Over the last ten years funds from the Stuart Boat Show have made it possible for MIATC to give out over $10,000 in scholarships to Treasure Coast students.
  • Other benefits include funds to support nine Waterway Cleanups, countless training events for MIATC members and allowing MIATC the resources to advocate legislatively for boaters and the industry (see http://www.miatc.com/wp/advocacy/). The show also allows MIATC the ability to promote the benefits of recreational boating and share the industry with those that may not currently be boaters. The Stuart Boat Show is a great place for MIATC members to showcase their products and new marine technologies. Studies show that individuals looking to buy a boat will attend 4-5 boat shows before they make a purchase.
