LLS Society Welcomes Back The Morrows
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society welcome back Frank and Geri Morrow as chairs of their Palm Beach Gala. It happens January 19th at The Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach. This year’s theme will be Cirque du Palm Beach ll-Encore, the Cirque part of the event will be thrilling and exciting. The live music will be provided by The Soul Survivors who always keep the dance floor full. “We were able to secure one of the most sought after media personalities, and CEO of the popular site PalmBeachliveworkplay.com, Tim Byrd, “The Byrdman”, and we are happy to have him with us again this year”, said Frank Morrow.
The Morrows wish to thank all the sponsors and patrons for their generous donations and support. Frank and Geri Morrow worked together with LLS to raise more than $750,000 last year, it really is successful beyond expectation, especially with economic times being what they are. Pam Payne, Executive Director of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Palm Beach Chapter said,” we are thrilled to have Frank and Geri’s leadership in chairing the 2013 Gala, it will be an exciting event, sure to be financially successful.”
Proceeds from the 2013 Gala will benefit LLS’s mission to cure leukemia and lymphoma, Hodgkin’s Disease and myeloma. It will also improve the quality of life of the patients and their families. The importance of raising funds for lifesaving blood cancer research is huge, but these funds will also support our local patients and their families by providing critically needed financial aid.
